The British F3/GT visits Rockingham this weekend and, as is usual for this series, you can expect some close racing and fantastic cars throughout the weekend.

The Avon Tyres British GT Championship takes on a new format for 2010, with two one-hour free practice sessions, as well as two 15-minute qualifying sessions, scheduled for the Saturday. All races (either a brace of one-hour events or a two-hour endurance race) will take place on the Sunday. The 2010 Cooper Tires International Formula 3 series is run over both Saturday and Sunday.

This meeting features:
• Avon Tyres British GT Championship
• Cooper Avon Tires British F3 International Series
• Volkswagen Racing Cup with Fuchs Lubricants
• Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship of Great Britain
• Alfashop Alfa Romeo Championship
• Ginetta Challenge

Thanks to Rockingham Circuit for giving the tickets for today and for PistonHeads for picking us! Had a brilliant time, it was good to get so near to all the cars and have access to the pitlane and close to the garages, etc. Really interesting circuit all round.

Now looking forward to the next round at Silverstone next month....

Amen! Me and Dad had a great time, first time I've watched racing at Rockingham, its amazing being in the stands and being able to see the whole circuit.

I even saw a PH & LM stickered up Cerbera(?) parked outside, was it anyone here?

I never made it to the stands (it must be incredible when all the stands are full) but found it great watching from above the pit garages and also at the back of the paddock area.

Some very 'nice' cars parked in the car-parks too!!

The people sponsoring the event (a housing complex I think - giving out hats and free crisps ) were literally throwing them away at the main gate, did anyone else notice this?

I did wonder if I was missing out on any special PH super secret meet!

I did wonder where everyone's caps came from - I didn't get there until 11.45am so missed out...!!!!
