Hi,
I thought someone might be able to help steer me in the right direction in regards to best cleaning products/methods.
Over the past year i ahve commited the sin of using the local Afghans to clean my car as they do it cheap and i was seemingly awful at doing it myself! However i decided after picking up numerous swirls and fine scrathes that i would take the job into my own hands.
I'm currently using cheap turtle was wash and then finishing it off with a turtle wax colour restorer. I really am clueless in this field. I know about the 2 bucket method and using a mitt. But i was wandering if anybody could help point me in the right direction for the products and any other tips you have to getting the cleanest and healthiest paintwork.
I've also just had all 4 wheels refurbished and was after a tip on the best way to clean them without an acid wash.
The car is a bright red (if that makes any difference to the products used).
Sorry about the essay! and thanks in advance for any replies

Quite simply spend some time on www.detailingworld.com and then look at the cpompanies who sponsor each section to discover more about where to buy the best products and what to use.
Simply you need....
A top shampoo, two buckets, two grit guards, two sheep skin mitts, a nylon brush, a decent PH neutral wheel cleaner, a drying towel, half a dozen microfibre cloths, some applicator pads, a good polish, some paint sealant, a decent wax, some glass cleaner, tyre dressing, an interior cleaner/dresser and away you go.
