ETA: apologies for the typo in the title
Hi,
I started a thread about my broken car in general gassing..
http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...
and the general concencous seems to be that my dual mass flywheel is on its way out.
However it has been suggested that I have a solid one in the 1.6? If this is the case, any ideas what my problems could be?
I have juddering when I pull away, seems to get better when the engine is warm. I also have a jolt when I lift off the throttle as if I had been drifting in neutral and then dropped it intoa lot gear.
Ideas in cost to get fixed? cheapest methods? Bearing in mind It an 02 plate, with nearly 110K on the clock, so not worth a great deal. However, I have spent 1K on it this year keeping it on the road with tyres, servicing, broken suspension and mot, so I would like to keep it onthe road and not throw that money away!
Thanks in advance!
Chris
