Whilst in the Isle of Man this last week I was returning on the ferry SUnday evening to find Kevin Furbur and his 205 T16 Rally car onboard and Mike Brewer and a Focus RS500. What is PH opinion of Mr Brewer as after searching PH, I sort of guess he is not held in as much regard as say Mr J May.

He seems to get credit for doing not a lot on wheeler dealers IMO. Ed does all the work after he buys a stter and then claims he is a super salesman, only to give in to negotiation straight away and give the car away.

Too right. When Ed's done all the work he says 'We've done alot of work', when really hes done bugger all. Smug little tt.

Im waiting for an episode when he walks into the garage and says "right ed me old china , what ave you done , by the looks of it nothin" at this point "me ol china" picks up a large iron bar and administers a good ttting..

Brewer is famous for the same reason as the bald chimp , same wheeler dealer geeeezah "i can sell milk to a cow" image.

Couldn't agree more.

Always seems like a proper dodgy old Londoner salesman as well...

Tosser, or at least comes across that way on his numerous dreadful TV shows. He is a member of one of my least favourite groups, namely people who get paid for talking on television who can't actually speak English properly. Annoying tosser, in fact.

If he is the producer for wheeler dealers then he may do more work behind the camera which is why he hasn't got time or energy to be on the show more often . Possibly

A mate of mine saw him out one night in Liquid in WIndsor, which for those not in the know is a horrible meat market with an average age of around 12 for girls and full of gay Westlife wannabe boys. Apparently he was hanging out there acting like a paedo in a playground with his sleazy, slicked back teddy boy mates. Not a good look.

So on that piece of heresay I judge him to be a tt!

+1, Ed is an actual legend. He fits new parts to the cars that Brewer buys.

Wasn't he one half of the TV 'show' that sent two Boxters home on flat-beds, then chose them over the TVR that had spanked them, to much booing?

Also, the labour charges are not accounted for in the maths.
I'm sure we could all turn a profit doing up snotters with a highly skilled Ed in the background working his nuts off for the fun of it...

He makes me cringe. "'old yer 'ahnd aht....gwon....loo'....arv got the cash in me 'aaand....." rolleyes

Amazing how some buyers and sellers seem to bend over just because he's some bloke off the telly. If I turned up to see a car and the vendor was someone of his ilk I'd walk away.

I doubt we have seen a genuine buyer over the entire series that have been on. I have my doubts about some of the sellers as well!

Definitely. I have had too many doubts regarding sellers. Even the buyers as well.

Does that Ed China have any other programmes, possibly in contract with TDC? Never seen him anywhere else.

That Ed chap did a nice little job on a rather tired looking 308 Dino.
