Is that really worthy of a thread on a motoring forum?

Why not? From a selfish perspective, if there's something I can learn from this that keeps me alive, I as a biker want to know.

Terrible news and a hell of a way to remind us how vulnerable we all can be - It only takes a second!

I think we all know the risks. Seeing something like that is never pleasant but serves as a reminder, sad but true. Agree that it maybe isnt the best of topics, not sure what we could learn from this?

I only posted in order to 'get it off my chest' so to speak, plus it's a graphic reminder to take it easy.

Did anyone see that prog on Sky maybe UK Horizons or something about a courier in London...last 2 mins of prog he piles into a black cab but he's OK...bike worse than he is...see it if you can it's good (not the crash..the actual prog)
