Someone else posted about this previously, but there seemed to be a bit of confusion.

After chasing round a bit today and calling Tesco, the promotion is at all the Tesco Express stores. My local one is attached to an Esso / Mobil garage.

Seems Mobil have brought out some new packaging so they're selling off their old stock.

It's £16 for 5 litres - a bloody bargain.

PS don't bother going to the Esso in Andover Road, Winchester - I've just cleared the shelves evil

That's much cheaper than the 70 or so pounds Mercedes just charged me for putting 5 liters of the stuff at my last service. Tempted to buy some and just leave it in the boot come next service.

Don't panic. Few, if any, cars would ever tell the difference. Both are outstanding modern synthetics with similar properties and excellent lubrication all round.

I beleive the 0w-40 is all branded SuperSyn now, and has been for a while.

It is LL01 IIRC

Hmmm, Opie Oils says yes for the 3.0 Msport, but no for the 3.0 SE/all 2.5 engines. (in that when you search for that car, it is/isnt one of the selected products)

My guess is yes, it would be fine.
