Tyre Pressure

With my old 205/50/16 tyres the pressure should have been 2.2bar upfront and 2bar at the back, should this change now I'm using 235/40/17 tyres? Possibly a silly question but I thought I would ask anyway...

I think lower profile tyres generally run higher tyre pressures... unsure though.

That's what I was thinking but I couldn't find any calculation for it.

Unless the weight of your car has changed (which it hasn't) any difference will be small. Trial and error based around your pevious pressures shouldn't be far out. If the tyres wear on the edges, pump them up a bit. If they wear in the centre, let them down a bit.
