My X5 is due a service soon and I want to use somebody else rather than the stealers....

Anyone got any suggestions of a good garage in Aberdeen/shire area?

Carden Motors in Broomhill Rd if you want somewhere in Aberdeen, again usually quite busy but great honest service.

West High Street Garage in Inverurie. Friend of my dad owns it, Tommy his name is. Good prices and good service. He's getting a brand new garage built soon so must be doing well.

I took the Jag in there after losing confidence in teh dealer.

Serviced and fixed the engine fault and the car is now running better than before.

AW Autotech 67 Ardarroch Road (near the football stadium) has an excellent reputation for older bimmers- they look after my M635... perhaps an X5 might be a bit new for them

+1 for these guys, ex BMW tech and they do a good job without taking the piss with the bill. I only take my X5 there. The only problem is that they're ususally quite buisy.

I'll wade in with a recommendation for Firstdrive cars in Stonehaven. The mechanics are top notch and the level of service is excellent.
