Hello,

Has anyone bought a STEINHART from their website? I'm very interested in the Nav B-Chrono II and want to buy one. STEINHART include 19% vat but ours is 17.5% at the moment, yet more confusion!!!

However reading the terms and conditions I'm not keen on the fact that when purchased and delivered to my door the customs man might come a knocking too for his cut. The watch costs 765 euros which is about £640 dont know what the customs man would want.

Thing is its my wifes money, not mine, as its for my birthday so I need the whole deal to be watertight.

Any thoughts

Cheers
Mark

PS. Its all CmndrBonds fault for making my mouth water over this watch months ago!!!

You won't pay customs duty as it will be delivered from the EU, within the EU (assuming it is delivered to West Yorkshire as per your profile!).

I purchased from them a couple of months ago. I sent an email checking stock, and got a reply next day. Gunther is the boss, I think: the reply came from him.

I ordered through their web-site, watch turned up just a short time later - say 4 or 5 days?

Absolutely first class service and communication from Gunther. Fully recommended.

Oh, and I'm really pleased with the watch too!

Just got my Ocean 1 Vintage Red last week, only took 5 days to arrive. Ordered from the web site, simple, used PayPal and no duty.

Very pleased with it too, excellent crisp clean finish and a nice box.

Just an update, Neil at chronomaster now sells them, it's £275 for the 'red' submariner for example.
