Forza 3 - Road car: standing mile time and speed

Playing around with a few cars, i noticed Sedona Park Raceway has a standing mile section.

Have a VW Rabbit GTI running 700bhp which managed 214mph and a time of 24.79. Thought this was pretty good

Whats the best time and speed you've acheived with a road car?

i've managed to get my 1200bhp veyron down there in 21.035.

i once raced a guy in the datsun 510 thingy and he got a 19.6 or something like that

i just keep tweeking the veyron for now as i can't my datsun anywhere close.

Pretty sure I've got the tuned Veyron down there in 18/19 seconds. Took quite a bit of tweaking to get it to that stage though.

In my 947bhp Datsun 510 ive done a 22.342, crossing the line at 231mph. I can go quicker if I can find more traction but that seens to make the car too unstable. Will keep working at it!

Never tried drag racing on Forza (other than a silly online multiplay one night), didnt bother as you can't jump the lights, the key part of drag racing is reaction times.

Having said that I might try and build something interesting.
