Great Yorkshire Show traffic

Every year the organisers put on the Great Yorkshire Show, and every year they cause utter fking chaos on the surrounding roads with their complete inability to direct the traffic flow with any form of sense.

Do you have to go on a special training course to be able to demonstrate the complete removal of your common sense when directing traffic before they give you a job?

And why the fk can you not turn right from the A661 on to the A658 instead forced to stay in with the show traffic when you don't want to?

I hope it rains today and they all get wet.

Indeed. Was even causing delays at 6.30am yesterday morning.

So things have not improved in the last 20 years then,I had to go from work,the muppets who they employed to run the car parks were supposed to work until 8 or 9 p.m.,but they used to ps off at 6 and leave chaos behind.

Just glad I don't have to near anymore.

its no biggie I've been sending lads to Harrogate all week with minimal delays. Just avoid the A661 Wetherby road altogether! A61 or coming in the back way through Kirkby Overblow is the future.
