I have a Exide Maxxima 900 DC Deep Cycle battery, completely unused. Bought for around £200 in 2006

It has been sitting in my garage for about 3-4 years due to a project i never got round to.

Will it still work?

Ive setup an auction on ebay starting at £5, and stated all of the above but its pointless if its completely dead.

Thanks

If it's been stored "dry" it will be OK.

If it's been stored with electrolyte in, and not periodically discharged and charged back up again, it will be fked.

Can you not just hook it up to your car and see if it works?

Stick a multimeter on it if you have one
