Hi,

Been a while since I posted anything. Iv'e been learning about how to make Flash do 3D
and although this is no Modern Warfare 2, it's a beginning...

http://www.galaxyarcade.co.uk/games/shooting-range...

From small 3D beginnings could come an online super-simplified Gran Turismo... eventually.

Any and all feedback welcome.

Regards,

Michael.

It's pretty cool, but the sound has a delay from when you shoot, which is quite distracting.

That is very good IMHO.

I must confess it is hard to play on a laptop though!

I also don't run sound but I am not sure if the gun fired every time I pressed the left mouse key.

Works fine for me. No delay on the sound as far as I could tell.

(Couldn't get to the scores table after finishing my round though)

I didn't read much of the start page, so blasted every school girl I saw thinking it was meant to be a sexy vixen with a sword.

I did better the second time. Good effort on the game, thanks.

Thanks for the comments.

I've not seen any delay on my PC, but I know that the combination of Flash + 3D is quite processor heavy, so I can quite imagine there will be some issues. One friend was getting about 8 frames per second when it was running, not a smooth experience at all.

Michael.

Yeah it's making Opera use about 60% CPU on my machine. Intel Core DUO P9600 2.66 GHz. So that's pretty nasty!

Ah yes. I was running it on Linux, so it was working my CPU pretty hard. Tried it on Windows now and it works fine, decent framerate on my PC.

Fun game - no problems here. Aside from my weak eye.

Same here...

Good game, some of the targets are quite impossible though, as they just flash on and off...

I can't seem to see the scores table either...
