Seriously: the PCGB has a lot going on. You get a mag, insurance deals, track-days (insruance often included in the insurance deals), meets, convoys and so on.

Personally: I prefer PH meets myself as I like the variety: but as a Porsche club the PCGB are the class act in the UK.

I agree.

PCGB is the way to go. Membership, the mag, going to events and track days has enhanced the enjoyment of my car considerably over the last 4 years.

Some things about PCGB:

Elitism

Some grossly overpriced trackdays with a much higher than average number of large crashes

Apalling heavy handed censorship on the PCGB forums

Hmm PCGB may be more local but PC-USSR run very useful features on Porsches.

For example how much room there is in the boot of a 993

Or what a bonus it is having a 996 over an early 911, as they offer aditional cabin space for when you might need it-

And they also proove once an for all to all the water cooled 911 doubter that the back end of a 996 can look attractive from some angles

All in all the Soviet porker club gives their *ahem* members a great *ahem* service, and I say PCGB should take a note out of their book

Ive heard its quite simple, all you do is visit the office in Moscow in person & sign up with the lovely Petra Bendoverporshikova.

The only problem is the queue is quite long, I belive the end of the line is currently somewhere near Paris
