I thought you would like to see some in car footage from the Parade Lap on Saturday morning. Absolutely superb event.

One of the idler pullies went taking out the belt, so no water pump (blew the header tank),
also damaged the oil line to the oil cooler (loss of oil) All repairable, should be done tomorrow

Provinding no undue rattles on startup (car does start and nothing noticed) should be OK

Fingers crossed

In the first vidio you pass my car at 4:43 steem coming out of the bonnet

So far the report sounds as if I've got away with it.
Car should be back on the road tomorrow (Friday)

Its got a Honda Civic Type-R engine in it that revs to 8.3k. I've looked at both vids but can't see an escort at 1.46. There was a red Alfa GTA heading onto the Mulsanne straight though.

Norman,

Good to hear chap. It certainly was steaming when we went past.

4pot what the bruddy hell are you driving? Lotus Elise on steroids???? Whatever it is it seems to leave most of the supercars for dead. The Porches were really trying to get away from you, as were several Ferraris. Very impressive footage and not one scream from your very calm passenger!

Its got a Honda K20a engine from the Civic Type-R in it. Goes rather well and the weight gives it a very good power to weight ratio.

The co-pilot is always very well behavedsmile

I didn't have a clue that you were right behind us with a camera on your car. Thank you so much for capturing Burbl in action too! Steve and I have just been watching your footage (a few times) and it's superb. It's hard to get images of your own car when you are in it!
Thanks for making our day! What a surprise beer.

Hi Karen,

No problem glad you enjoyed it, shame I didn't hang on your tail a little longer. Though you might have spotted the camera mount in our screen, but guess you didn't have to use the mirrors much wink

Catch up again soon,

Cheers
