Does anyone know the paint code for this colour, please

If im right to assume that your car is Viper blue then the paint code should be on your plate under the bonnet, and IIRC should be the code thats beside the one called "Body code".

For your info...if the Body code has an 'M' before the number it is a 'factory' paint mix...if it hasnt the 'M' then you should be able to get paint from a supplier such as ICI....

The code is P422~8Ml9B? is it safe to assume this is the non factory mix and therefore availble from ICI....etc.

Correct!... the bodyshop who did my headlight conversion use ICI when its not a factory mix.

Just remembered reading this that one of my friends was a senior colour chemist in ICI on the motor paints side. His claim to fame is creating the colour for Jimmy Savilles pink Rolls Royce from a sample of bath mat Jimmy liked the colour of . Makes me wonder what other dodgy things you could use to base your car colour on.
