Hi all.. could not find the right place to put a hello (welcome) thread so though i would post up here... please move if in the wrong place (i am used to forums so know moderators lurk around every corner)


i have a problem.. i keep changing my cars so i thought it would find a forum that i do not have to keep leaving every time i change a car..

I still live on IMOC (mr2 club) but quite fancy staying around here... reading up seems a good community and i am always hunting the classifieds


I am 27 have now had 58 cars (oops )... got lil girl called daisy-may.. and me wife kelly..
I am currently driving a 328i bmw while i save for either tvr or supra not decided which yet.. prob some point next year..
and also drive around in the wife mini cooper S


Anyways first of here is me my lovely wife kel and lil Daisy-May

It all started for my in feb 2000 when i passed my test.

I have had all sorts of cars from low powered metro's fiestas and corsa's

to high powered supras MR2's and impreza's and most things in between

Here a few of my fav's (although missing my startlet GT turbo, 205 gti metro gti and many many more)


I am not going to do my cars in any order.. purely as i cannot remember what order they should be in

Starting it off with my MR2 MK1 Supercharger imported looking like this

What would you like to know...
to be honest i for some reason go through cars like hot dinners... (no touch wood i don;t smah em up)...

but i do seemed to have started low worked my way up the car ladder to the supra and for some reason stupidly sold it and been going backwards ever since... now with a 400£ 328i bmw.. thats okay .. i just wanna start working my way back up again to be honest

Anyone not sure i have had all these car check 80% of the pics are all in my drive or check imoc they will confirm.. i have the full list at home ill find it and write it up..

as a little about me

I am electrical engineer i work shift work.. my lil girl turned 3 on the 10th june...
my wife is a call centre manager in holiday extras...
i got 2 Dogs a border collie called cassie and a Shepard/great dane called scooby doo..







I have loved cars as long as i can remember and wish i had a job in the car industry..

most of my money went into my mr2's// my white SC was built by trac art in ahsford.. who had the supra that i swaped it for.. as the used the SC as their demo car..

My black GT4 i swapped for my veilside mr2 as i needed the extra seats...

had loads of boring cars.. but some lovely ones too.. the ones i wished i never got rid of were my supra.. my RA spec impreza and my Audi S4....

you will soon learn how quick i go through cars as i like this forum so hope to stick arond... i am trying to find a car i will not get bored with.. i have had teh 328i for about 4 weeks and i keep seeing a escort rs2000 that keeps catching my eye thats up for sale..... and thats howe it starts me off looking for something new

sorry was running slightly less than that at 287 on the rollers...

it had a cold feed induction kit. reverse piped intercooler.. SWA remap (that was the main boost) it ran 08 bar boost till 3k then 1.1bar boost after that... also back box too.. was never sure on what turbo it run it did have the T5r engine (which is the same as teh T5 but with a different turbo) i only had it about 3 months... got bored of the auto box

I nvere did the work... i "think" it might have had a down pipe too

How on earth do you get all those purchases past your missus? Is she also a petrolhead or does she just leave you to it?

I particularly like your Mk1 MR2s - one of those cars that I always wanted but never got around to owning.

cheers.. awsome cars the mk1's can get them for peanuts and get for trackdays.. and easy to fix... just watch the coolant...

as for my missus... the Scooby RA was hers she chose that then bought something else and i took it ... she lets me get on with it now TBH as long as i only spend what i have got she does not car she loves her cooper S so she is happy.. and yeah she is a pertol head to just not as much as she used to be

i also helped my daughters godmother pick out a focus ST the other day so i am not insured on that too

Welcome Pete. I love your SC MR2. I helped a friend install that engine in his NA , and it's been a great car for years. I must say, you've made some choices that I wouldn't have gone for, but each to his own.

And your little girl is very sweet.
