Hi Forum,
Someone I know is currently debating wether to spend the summer in an R500, or a 360 cabriolet with a manual gearbox (he doesn't like the flappy paddles).
I have a strong opinion on this, but was shot down in flames by all bystanders in the pub, other than the bloke who is making the decision.
If you had the choice of 1 or the other, for weekend fun use only, what would PH do?
ETA - He'll be driving the car in the country, not posing. He'll also probably be with his wife 8 times out of 10, so "pulling nympho russian twins" probably isn't on the agenda =)

If it was for one Sunday then it'd be the Caterham but if I was buying it to use over a summer then I'd go for the 360. Can't say I'd mind either though to be fair!
This. The Caterham would likely be more fun for a single day, but it'd be much easier to appreciate the additional comforts and luxury of the 360 if it were to be for a longer period. Also consider what that day was going to involve - if it was for going out on the pull the 360 would be a no-brainer, if it were just you and the countryside the Caterham would win.swerni said:

How on earth did you fit in a Caterham. With harnesses you must have worn it like a backpack.
Was in one of the new ones yesterday and they are huge
That's hilarious - it even has list. I was a tight fit in my westy and they're miles bigger the the Caterham. The steering wheel must have been the size of button to fit your legs under.jayfish said:
A month or so back whilst driving behind a Caterfham and discussing them with my 8 year old, I spotted a 360 coming towards us, pointed it out to him and his reaction was 'Yeah it's OK, but Caterhams are cooler.'
As we all know 8 year olds are the definite authority on carsIf i owned a car company i would employ at least one 8 year old in the design department
