What are 4 Chimaera wheels in excellent condition worth.
Mine will become surplus to requirements in the next month or so.

Could be interested depending on price, one of my rears appears to beegg shaped. Don't notice when driving but it was very obvious when they were balancing it.

Less than I paid for the wheels. You don't have to buy them.

Edited to say: Those tyres too a lot of effort to wear out so well

So, to finally answer your question I think they are worth around £500. Simply because you can't get them any longer - the only ones out there are sitting on Chimaeras (and the odd ones pilfered by S owners ).

I think £500 is a bit much... as there is a set with New Bridgestone tyres included at £400 in the classifieds at the moment, I'd use that as more of a benchmark perhaps..?

Cheers
Matt.

Crikey, I use two complete sets of chim wheels for rtack days .. if I could sell them for 500 pounds a set that's a whole bunch of engine mods
I phoned around the TVR breakers once to find prices .. there's a firm that advertises in the back of Sprint, they wanted, wait for it , 700 pounds for chim wheels and 900 pounds for griff 500 wheels .. when i said it sounded a bit high they said "well you won't be buying any from me then will you?" ..
LOL .. I didn't and paid less than 200 pounds for each set i own! .. with tyres!! .. oh how i laughed .

Yeah, but I can't really explain what else they were.. and they had a 4 stud fixing. I was also confused by them, I got them off Steve Parker.

Maybe very early 'Tasmin' wheels were 4-bolt then? Were they like the early 502 Elan/Eclat wheels or painted cross spoke? I can't remember how many bolts they had.
