Not all scooter riders are to$$ers
Discussion
I know because I have recently become one! Recently bought a Honda 125 jobbie and doing my best to respect other drivers and not do any of the irritating things mentioned in other posts on this topic, whilst also trying not to fall off!
First close call today, after 20 miles of riding since purchase. I turned into a quiet side road, and then slowed down even more to turn into a little lane off this quiet road when all of a sudden there is a loud long horn behind me and I see a car right up my ass which threw me off balance and sent me into the verge - guy then accelerated like a mad man down the quiet road.
I've got l-plates on so he can see I'm a learner - I just hope this isn't a sign of things to come...

Imagine the lane your in as 3 lanes, and then ride on the inside of the 3rd lane, Positioning is everythign on a bike be scooter or full on sports bike. Only difference on a scooter is ride very defensively, but on a 125 you should be able to keep up with all traffic. Enjoy, Scooters are the best form of transport around town.
