Is there a plan afoot to do anything with the quoting within peoples replies?

Not sure if it's just me but there seems to be an increase in the number of quote "ridiculously long posts" and then quote it again and add two words to the bottom.

I don't mind the odd ROFL pyramid but it's mindnumbing spending most of the time scrolling.

On some other forums the quote is actually within a window in the post with it's own seperate scroll feature or expansion buttom. Could something like this be implemented?

Agree on the nested quotes. I find it immensely irritating and it's one of the main reasons I don't read PH on my Blackberry.

It would be great to see it limited.

We have some plans to discourage excessive quoting, but unfortunately we are very busy at the moment so it will be a while before we can find time to build them.
