How difficult is it to book a service?
Discussion
I'll tell you .... flippin impossible.
I wandered into the service department of my local BMW main dealer this morning. All I wanted to do was book the car in for a small piece of work to be done.
Although they had 3 staff wandering around with pieces of paper in their hands, and 1 receptionist; I could not book a service. I was advised to go home and phone them. It was then suggested to the receptionist that perhaps I could use her phone to them directly to book the service. The receptionist said no, as she's not be able to receive the call.
So, only 1 person could help - of whom he had 3 people ahead of me waiting. And 3 others wandering around aimlessly, and 1 receptionist.
Is it that difficult to book a car for them to look at? Obviously yes.
Suffice to say I walked out.
And no, I've not called them. And don't intend to either!
