electric window motor, S2

hello all

My driver side elec window motor has packed up, and I've spent the past 2 weeks desperately trying to find out what it comes from.

I've called the douglas valley place to see if they have a spare, but they haven't got back to me yet. I have a feeling it will be expensive, even if they have one.

So has anyone ever had to replace one or know where they originate from (please don't say Citroen)

Both mine packed up recently, although the passenger side turned out to be a Ford motor and not the same as the drivers side which I took to be original...
After some research I tried David Gerald TVR who quoted £146 + VAT for a new one - apparently these were for the S3 but can be made to fit with the usual fettling....

Thankfully after stripping down both motors and mechanisms I got mine going again!
