In Nov 2007 I bought myself a shiny new Focus ST and it served me well for nigh on 40k trouble free nicely modified miles. However, I was travelling more and more on business, piling on the miles, parking it in dodgy hotel car parks and generally feeling paranoid about it getting damaged, nicked etc. A hassle free offer to buy it from a guy at work was hard to resist so we parted company.

So what to replace it with..?? Taking inspiration from various sources the obvious choices seemed to be an MX5 or 530i MSport. However, the diesel v's petrol debate reared its ugly head, what about an old smoker etc etc.... As my mind was a maelstrom of indecision I finally threw caution to the wind, applied a smattering of 'man maths' and picked this up last week... I do hope you like it although the wife is still not speaking to me smile

Ha...! I love the fact you wanted a less conspicuous, less thievable, more capable mile muncher and chopped a Focus ST for this. Great choice with extra points for petrolhead logic, I'm liking it. yes

Personally, I'd be happier parking a Focus than a Mustang in dodgy areas. biggrin

Nice car though.

Edit: I should read the whole thread before replying!
