Bonnet Release Cable

Hi

I've just extracted the old bonnet release cable from the broken S3 before the body goes to the tip to hold as a spare but I could see what the costs would be to have some, new, cables made up. Assuming reasonable cost would anyone be interested??

Hi Norman.
have 2 separate bonnet pulls, I was thinking of changing it to a single cable but not had time to do it (if parts available), are you doing a cable set with a leaver or just a cable.

Hi Alan

The earlier cars (S1s maybe S2s as well) had two pulls one each side. Later cars a single pull but there was a lever mounted on the frame that supports the steering column

looking at the picture, the part of the bracket that the cables go through and the handle and roller pivot on is welded to the bigger bracket that supports the steering column, would you like that aswell ?
