Guys and galls.....the fountain of all knowledge:

I have been rather stupid recently, and have been extolling the virtues of my Chimaera and it's reliability. Hence, this morning, on the way to work, I notice that my Speedo, Odometer and trip meter have all stopped working. I have a copy of the bible at home, but will be unable to tackle this job until weekend. What I want to know is this.........
Is this gonna be an easy, or a complicated, trace the cables through the dash etc.?
(I am a repair numpty so be gentle with me)

I was in the passenger footwell this morning putting the carpet back in place, so may have moved/ damaged something whilst under there.

Cheers in advance.......
Paul....................

You will probably find it is the sensor located on the Rear right drive shaft.

If you remove the rear wheel you may just be able to see it.

There is a toothed wheel and a sensor located behind it.
They can pack up and in turn stop your speedo, Odometer and trip functions.

That is what happened to mine, I imagine you have a similar set up, even though you probably have the digital dash.

It costs about £100 or so to have it fixed at a main dealer, mine cost about £130 as I had to have the thread the sender goes in retapped.
