Supersprint Exhaust for E39 Volume?

Evening all,

Seen one for sale, fits most E39 models, including my 2002 540i saloon. So where does the supersprint rear silencer fit in on the volume scale compared to others on the market? Anyone have one?

Is it similar to the Eisenmann sport exhaust, rather than race?

Looking for something which adds a bit of volume, but not too intrusive and definitely not boomy.

I looked but SS website seems to say it wont fit my Sport.

We had a supersprint 306 GTi 6 backbox on my GF's 1.4 306 and it was silent.

Thats all I can say really!

I had a supersprint just back box and at normal throttle and normal speeds no difference, but when under hard throttle they add a lovely deep thrum. The exhaust note is the difference say between a 4 cylinder bm and a 6 cylinder or would make a 4 sound like a 6! Not tried on a v8 but can imagine the effect being glorious!!!!
