Light rain after the first few laps Owen which persisted almost to the end of qually when a dry line started to form. I stayed out for the duration on a very greasy surface indeed (to get more time in the car) whilst most others called it a day mid way or earlier (I'd never have qualified front row otherwise! )

I only managed about 4 laps in qually as the crank sensor failed,and i rolled to a halt in the pits for the first time that weekend lol... I was gutted when it stopped raining as everyone started going quick lol..

Chaps - what the heck are those Ford Fiestas powered by? Just looked at their Mallory race times and every one of them was sub 60 seconds!
