First day of driving cerb - my neighbors hate me

Ok my cerb is all done working fine , i took her out of the garage anyway i drove it all day people took quite a few pictures i think my left eye is blind from the flashes . The smile is there when I drove it i spend half the time driving other half looking at it , what a car , on my way back home some guy blockade the road and had a go at me for waking his kids up he was pissed so that's my first day of driving , also when i get home I see every one on their window wondering around and trying to find out who the he'll making this noise. , and I fking love it

It must be loud if it does that. Always a problem if you have a Tiv. I had my light driving shoes (or was it my slippers ?) on this morning when I started the car, I was slightly further down on the accelorator pedal than I perhaps should have been (too much Jack Daniels). Sounded like I was ready for Silverstone but I didn't intend it to happen though the S6 does have a lumpy tick over, so probably appropriate. You can drive them respectfully to your neighbours though if you're careful enough and I always try to. My Cerb was not as vocal as my Tamora mind you. Good luck with the neighbours anyway.. and as Derek Batey used to say. "Be nice to each other"

Well done Arda, it has been a long journey from salvage to driving, enjoy!

She is certainly one worth saving, let me know when you are travelling to anywhere around the Midlands I would love to see her. I also have the history folder to give to you.

My neighbour knocked on my door and asked if my car was OK

She said she had followed me the other day and saw some 'fire' coming out of the exhaust and thought the car was in trouble.

Must have been a 'pop' on overrun - Although I never thought they did this (flame) normally

Its not just Cerbs.

I used to have to push my 400SE approx 100yds down the road from an ex's due to her neighbours before I could start it at 3am in the morning ...always wondered how I would explain it to a but never got challenged

I just creep out of the close at really low revs, even with a quiet system. Apparently though they can still here the pops at the roundabouts 400 & 800 yards away

My next door neighbour has just bought her 16 year old son one of those faux 50cc trail bikes. I'm sure she is trying to get 'payback' for all the years of living next to my Cerb

Only managed to run my new 'zorst for 5 miles after my renewed clutch failure but WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, that first start up was summat that turned my insides over.

VISCERAL is the word.
