Swiss tunnel run.........
Discussion
....amongst other things.
Have finally got round to sorting out a Euro trip for a a long week of driving fun. In past years we've driven all the way down to Italy so as to be able to include a visit to the Lambo factory (and to get the car serviced).
This year we have decided to knock a few days off the total trip to help keep the costs down, and so will only be venturing as far as Switzerland. Have already sorted the accommodation for an overnight stop in France - a nice chateau on the outskirts of Verdun - as well as a beautiful hotel above a lake, a few miles from Interlaken, in Switzerland. Some of the great Alpine passes are just a few miles away, and of course there will be some great tunnels to enjoy on the outward and return journeys.
It's a smaller group going this year than in previous years, but I'm sure it will be loads of fun just the same. Have to say that I am really looking forward to it.
As the Murci has a bit more luggage space than the GT, there will be no excuse for not taking a camera and hopefully getting some good shots. Watch this space.
