A friend and I are heading to Barcelona for the week, we're both in our 20's and don't really fancy staying anywhere too touristy. Any recommendations?

A friend and I rented an apartment in the fishermans quarter which is in a good location, close the beach, marina, town and not too busy.

Do a search in this section of PH (Holidays & Travel)

Barcelona is quite a small city and has very good and cheap public transport. I live in Exiample which means I can walk everywhere, but it's not touristy etc.

Ravel or Las Ramblas will be busy, in the summer, it can be quite noisy by the beach, but nowhere is too bad to be honest.
