I'm considering leasing a car for 2 years and once you get past the crazy website design at lingcars.com the deals look pretty good.

So does anyone have any wise (or otherwise) words on Ling leasing ?

If you can make the search work, she's a member on here and I think had a few supporters last time there was a thread.

Yes the website is an 'acquired' taste hehe

Having read some threads about lings in the past, it has been very highly recommended by the people using it. The site is bonkers as is ling herself. Sort of like giving 6 year olds sherbet by the lorry load bonkers.

It's all good.

bowtie

Ling's husband also has a hole in his trouser pockets, but it doesn't matter as he's a very confident chap. How do I know this?

He feels cocky all day long.

I'm here all week

She's a broker - she doesn't actually lease the cars herself.

What is there to say? You do the deal and the finance company DD's the monthly charge. It's not rocket science, although apparently she does own a missile launcher.

Never having even looked at leasing before I've no idea how it works- and that site may have the answer to this question but it's so busy I can't see it- but do these prices include insurance? If it does, £230pm for 2 years in an MX5 is pretty tempting.

Tax is usually included, but not insurance.

No, you have to insure it yourself.

That's a shame. How do you insure a car if you're not the legal owner?

Who designed her website then? I'm just curious, it's very messy but works okay I guess. wink

The same as you would if you were the legal owner.

You just select the 'Not registered owner' box when doing your quote smile
