minitorque.com will have all the answers to your tuning questions. On the exhaust front, depends what your looking for. There are so many available, but spend your money elsewhere if you are wanting decent gains in power.

The above link is an exhaust gallery with video clips to compare

Go for either the JCW exhaust, one ball mod (cutting one of the back boxes out of the standard exhaust) or Miltek. These sound like enhanced versions of the standard exhaust, without going boy racer.

just looked up the one ball mod looks good, do you know if it will still pass a MOT

Yup, had it on my old car. Passed MOT at a BMW dealer. It sounded good, just a louder version of the stock exhaust, more pops and bangs, no droning on the motorway either. Plus it's cheap smile

I've been in & followed Hyperblue's old car & it did sound nice, mine's got a Milltek exhaust & manifold & sounds good too, not too noisy, especially as I'm a 52 year old Grandad racer who should really grow up tongue out.

Minitorque is also a great site to get tuning info, top advice that will save you £££.
