Disco 3 or 4 ?

A bit slow and ponderous, but will transport a family in comfort and safety in any conditions.
Brilliant load carrier too and 7 seat practicality.

Range Rover (or sport) in TDV8 guise.

Edited to add: damn forgot disco. If you have 2-3 kids plus dogs, or loads of kit or bikes etc, definitely a disco 4. They're massive.

RS6 - bigger inside than almost all the rest with blistering performance.

Ha love the fact that you think the RR sport should be on LPG. But no mention of it for the V10 twin turbo RS6.

RS6 Avant would be my choice for transporting me, the mrs and all the little Gearchanges

Peugeot 505 estate

Unfortunately you are at least 20 years to late. They don't make family cars that good any more. My bro crashed twice in one of those with me in the car, best family crashes we ever had >sniff<

3 rows of seats and decent boot for high volume sprog transport.
Rear wheel drive for scaring the crap out of them.

E63 AMG estate with optional foldaway seats in boot and you have a blistering 7 seat rocket with load swallowing ability without having to resort to a 4x4 SUV for no reason whatsoever, therefore greenies are less likely to spit on you in public car parks, and similarly you won't need 1 1/2 parking spaces smile

What's a resonable budget?

M5 or FF Range Rover tick an awful lot of boxes
