For reasons I dont wish to go into, I need to get a plug for this connector:

No identifying marks at all on the connector (I have both ends - but need some more of the female sockets) to work out who made it.

How do I go about plugging stuff in? My idea was very small crimp spade connectors but my Dad reckons thats "dangerous" (wiring is used for a very low-power car amp).

Is there any company who will be able to make up a female version of the connector block, and what sort of price it would be?

Why not plug your spades avec wires into the plug, then fill it with some kind of non-conductive plastic moulding compound, and wait for it to dry?

Once dried, you have a fully working plug.

Good idea for my own use... but alas I am hoping to be able to sell the wiring loom to people.

Basically - it's for a car audio system, and is the wiring for the amp which drives all the speakers etc. Breakers often have all the hardware, but rarely take the wiring out so loads of people have it, but it's all useless without the loom... which costs £180 new despite being a bunch of wires. I'm trying to see if it's possible to get this made up so I can make the same thing...

I would guess thats an AMP Multilock connector:

cable plugs should be availible to suit.

Huzzah - looks like this - http://uk.rs-online.com/web/search/searchBrowseAct... - is the male connector I have... "30-way Multilock 070 2-row cap housing"

Furthermore the listing says "30 way connector mates with a 12 way and 18 way plug" which is exactly what I have (30 pins, 18 on one and the 12 on the next plug).

Where do I get the female version?

Ok, so I have the white hole / bit with the male pins. I need the plug that goes into it with the female receptacles.

Where do I purchase such a thing?
