So as much as I want to not I will give a sensible response.

It seems expensive and for far less you can get far better. Not everyone's cup of tea but the Saab and Volvo 4 seater cabs are nice and you will get more metal for your money. Also if you don't care about the imagine (ok I am going to hell!) too much then look at the focus, 308 or Eos...

Get something with a little more class than an Audi. It smacks of new money and credit.

Heed my counsel young Jedi.

How does your 'wife' >cough Alan Partridge cough< suffer somebody so insufferable?

Have the neighbours seen how you've fallen from grace yet?

Nice trolling though.

Nope, after the OP has shown to believe that nothing equals an Audi it seems somewhat funny that he would allow his nearest and dearest to drive something else, especially French.

Dear lord man, there is more to life than an AUDI

I don't care about the imagine, the feel, the built in haemorrhoid massager for the love of god consider something else. I realise this may bring about the apocalypse and cause calfs to lay down with lions and Jordan become a nun but it's a risk I think we are all willing to take.

Looks mighty expensive for a quite average car. Look for a Boxster S (if you don't need 4 seats) or a Beemer M3 if you do need 4 seats. Either way, an Audi diesel is a long way down my list of what to do with £23k. If you must go with Audi, surely an S4 cab would be better..!

It's a nice looking machine. But as others have said, for Audi money you can get other, dare I say it, better and cheaper cars.....

What will the car be used for?

Oh, and get rid of the French machine FFS....

That's because the wife is imaginary, as is the original question itself.

I think the audi is a bit too luxurious, suggest you look at say a Bentley GT convertible if you want a less ostentatious means of transport.

The way that reads, to me anyway, suggests that you think Honda is now part of the VAG stable?

I believe some sort of medium sized, diesel BMW, maybe with some sort of ECU modification is what you need. Oh and a Corsa for the wife.

BeB I think possibly a Maybach if the OP is looking to keep a lower profile than an Audi S-Line... Just stay under the radar a little more...

Alternative to Audi options

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2009...

Thats number 26 of a total run of 31

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2010...

I'm not even a fan of BMW's but even I will concede that this is a better car than the Audi

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2010...

Again so much more entertaining than the Audi, please

OPEN YOUR EYES!!!!!

Surely if you keep banging on about Audi like this, your wife will be the one changing for VAG.
