Do I need hazard warning lights to pass an MOT on my 1985 Land Rover? It dose have a button but it does not work.(yet)

Also what about a reversing light?

If hazards are fitted to a car pre April 1 '86 they must work, if they are not fitted then you don't need them to pass

Reversing lamps are not a testable item.

Hazards not required on yours, but if fitted must be tested

I will get everything working in the end, but it would be nice to get it on the road as soon as I can.

Not used to working on modern things like this. laugh
