Hi folks,

I am buying a new car and the manufacturer option for leather seats is a bit expensive. Can anyone recommend a trimmer/upholsterer that can replace the seat fabrics at a reasonable cost & quality?

Cheers,

I was at KRJ in Middlewich Cheshire last week, and they were doing a 10 reg Volvo XC90 - all seats, centre console and door inserts for £1200 - Volvo, from memory, wanted about £2.5k for leather when I was speccing mine at Christmas.

I can recommend ssctrimming.co.uk
They did a civic type r for me many years ago. The price was about 800, and the job was excellent. The chap did a full rebuild on a 550 Ferrari dashboard (not just trim, but remanufacture the shape), so he knows his stuff.

Currently having my interior re-trimmed by Cheshire Auto trim in Warrington, did some real looking around nand these offered the best combination of quality and price, very open to you looking at their work and genuinely nice people.

Martin is the person to speak to, tell him Andy with the E36 pointed you in his direction and you'll get a good deal

Where are you? I presume Kent, in which case Oxted Trim might be worth phoning.
