I love the American motorhomes and value for money is fantastic, but they are just not suited to the UK really, many sites will not accept them and they do like a drink evry 15 miles will see a gallon gone.

It's a bit old for the money. I like airstream "normal" caravans but they at least have a bit of individuality about them (being all silver an' all). I look at that one and think about the on-going costs to keep it running. And it's lack of shower/bog/etc. A modern one is probably a lot more expensive but infinitely more useful.

And it's really small. The ad says 26". I doubt I'd fit in it. wink

20 grand for a 34 year old bus with no MOT.

I drive an old American motorhome as a daily, but Airstream or not, I'm not sure why that would invoke enough lust to justify its own thread.

Oh, unless you are the owner...

Ta.

I would prefer a Dodge Ram Dayvan given the choice.

I should encourage my dad to sell his first-gen Volkswagen LT motorhome, that is sat on his drive and hasn't turned a wheel in about 3 years.

It's immaculate inside, but the outside is definitely showing signs of neglect.

I'm sure a while back Jermey Clarkson featured a huge Pickup which was something like 10 times bigger than the original and was based in Saudi Arabia.
