SL65 AMG Black Series

[cottonfoo]

I saw one of these last night in Hertford, sounded gorgeous and had a lot of presence in black. I've just read there were only ten allocated for the UK, is that correct? This one was left hand drive however, so may have been imported.

I don't suppose it was anyone from here?

So you spotted one. You lucky sod.

I bet it sounded good too.

Didn't Jeremy Clarkson buy one of these for his personal collection? They are absolutely mint cars like, I'm pretty sure he drives one of these on his "Thriller" dvd, it looks like a proper hoot.

Nope, his is the CLK Black Series, which is based on the last CLK63AMG model. The SL65 AMG is the current SL with a fixed roof, big power and bigger wheelarches.
