Thinking of going for a new mini cooper S. How do regular owners of minis find the rear seats for short trip passengers carrying please ? I know it's not huge but open to sharing comments. TIA.
I have three kids and to be honest thats all it is good for if you are over 5'8 I am 5'11 and with my seat as far forward as I can and still drive there is no room in the back. Lucky ours is a secound fun car. Best bet try it out yourself343bhp said:

I don't have a MINI, but I think the answer will depend on who will be using the back seats, how often and what is a short journey. And all importantly if it's actually an issue or concern to you personally? For me I've run a lot of 2+2 coupes. Back seat space is limited, but usable. I suspect a MINI or even a Fiat 500 are very similar in this respect.
It is possible to do trips as long as you're ok with moving a little closer than usual. A couple of times (brighton to essex the longest) I've had 3 mates in mine with me being the shortest at 6'.
Next week we are going to Cornwall and the same guys want to go in my car again, I have no idea why, coilovers and cramped backs of cars can't be fun but I don't mind taking it around all the windy roads if needs must.
