Expensive cars with no Hands Free.... WHY ????
Discussion
For some reason I see more and more peeps with expensive cars holding mobile phones to their ears whilst driving.. Do they not realise you can ask for "Hands Free" as an option ?????
Or are they just too "cheapskate" or think themselves "above the law" to not bother complying with the laws of the land ??
You would have thought that for a couple of hundred quid extra on the price of a 40k or above car they would have just asked them to throw one in..
Or am I being a little to pedantic here ?

It's not difficult to drive and hold a phone at the same time.I have even seen people smoke,re-tune the radio and even turn around to b
k their kids without crashing.
Handsfree is generally crap reception.
I drive around 40k miles a year and have no issues with "Hands Free" reception.. Guys I work with have no issues either..

And Your first comment about it being not difficult to drive whilst multi tasking doesnt take you outside the boundaries of the law.. Sorry..
It's because they're thick
s and either can't be arsed, don't know how to do it, don't care that driving one-handed is a bit dangerous when you're not able to quickly get the other hand back on the wheel or do indeed consider themselves above the law.
We have some great ones round here which IMO are even more silly.
1. The "classic neck cradle" "I'm not touching the phone." - but you are according to the letter of the law.
2. The "walkie-talkie" where they put it on speakerphone and hold it to their mouths like you would a CB mic.
3. The "loving caress" where they hold it with the opposite arm to the side of the head where the phone is being held in an attempt to disguise their actions.

syncing by bluetooth takes seconds to set up FFS just do it!
I think anyone who has handsfree in their car and refuses to use it should pay double when it comes to fine time!
