parkingsensors??
Discussion
have installed the kit on the front side
not for parking but in order to see what's happening on that side of the road (for overtaking)
was thinking of installing a second camera (you only need 1)on the backside
if you put it in the center or left/right of the number plate it will be fine

I have one 'fitted', a loose description as it is loose laid (not ideal as if it moves it'll give a false warning) between the boot and outer body behind the 2 grommets. It is a series of sensors connected by a wire so as flexible as you'll need, and because it's only working through fibre glass is quite sensitive.
Pre-installed when I got the car so can't give the make but if you need details I can give the garage a call.

Yes, I found some hi-tech parkingsensors with LED indication outside that your are to close!
(and a beep sound and a display inside the car)
Blue light flashing (in the parkingsensors are small led's) your are within 3Mtrs. Red light flashing you are very close. Ideal for close racing in the night I think.

what do you want a parkingsensor for? are you a girl or what?
My thoughts too. It's only a little car!
At least they can be turned off when towing though.

Note to self "Don't ask about fitting parking sensors to a TVR"
I was only going to ask the same thing myself! Don't hate me, I'm coming accross from Jaguar!

What about putting them on the wheel hubs so you dont kerb your spiders.
I had one of those supermarket parking incidents once as well.

But the other point or problem with parking sensors is that they make people stop using their own senses.
I had a knob in a BMW reverse back towards me until he hit me and then he shut down with the nose of my Tuscan still about 4 inches under his bumper.
He refused to get out and look as he insisted that he hadnt hit me as he had parking sensors. DICK.
He then moved forward 6 inches before I could get a photo.
