PistonHeads Entry.
Discussion
What can I say - thanks to PetrolTed for putting this forum here. He has been nothing but supportive of our cause and has helped us in so many ways.
I hope we will be able to see a PistonHeads car there? What would it be...?
Is the new Sagaris planned to be available by summer 2005 - I haven't really been following the progress of it. If so - it would be an awesome PistonHeads entry, and would be invited to the front of the grid.

Was afraid of this - i'll have to restructure it a little bit.

that should give a better idea of what this event is all about. its basically a UK cannonball run taking place in summer 2005 over one bank holiday weekend.
it's not as expensive as the gumball, it doesn't require time of work, and the machinery and people are still going to be there.
check out the documents page at www.pr-photography-tour.org/documents.asp to read all the information including concepts, funding, support info, etc etc.
I will change the site around a bit to try and make it more clear, sorry.
Will update you when it's sorted.

Haha steve good to see you here - We just need to get more people on the forums and the site.
Does anybody have any good ideas on how we can make the site more accessable for people that have not heard of the event yet?
I was thinking of maybe moving the concept to the front page and having the homepage as a kind of second stop. Although I feel it's important to have the ever changing things first.
I'll put part of the concept on the homepage methinks...
and steve - cant put your pic of the skoda on - it looks like your racing in that picture, and thats not sending the right message is it

You must be doing something right, as I can't get access to your site as "too many people are currently viewing it".
It's crazy - could never have anticipated this response, if you do get this problem just wait a few seconds and hit refresh.
I'll make sure it doesn't happen again - will see if i can fix it over the weekend.
Thanks
Thought I might mention here - the photos in the 'gallery' have thumbnails, but the thumbnails are just the original versions resized after downloading.
With the two there it takes ~15 seconds to load.. when there's loads of images it will take ages!
Not sure what software you have, but it should be fairly easy to make some thumbnails yourself - just resize the image to something like 175x200, and save it with a slightly higher compression.
Then make the thumbnail a link to the separate full size image.
good luck!
