That looks like an AWESOME road trip. With regards to the state of the roads... would they be good enough to take the (classic) Alfa on? Not too potholey by the looks of it. Also what was the rough time scale?

Err, The majority of the roads in romania and serbia are SHOCKING!

Italy, France, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia and checz republic all have superb roads, Particularly slovenia. Perfect tarmac everywhere we went. Only downside was the locals are a bit slow.
