Where I live doesn't have an outdoor tap, so I can't connect a pressure washer.

I saw in Evo a few months back that there's a portable model, available ::here::.

Question is, is it any good?

Failing that, is there a way to connect a normal one to a kitchen tap? Fitting an outside tap is definitely out, unfortunately.

I use the first one on that page, connected to the cold tap in the cloakroom, hose fed out through the window. Works 100%.

They bugger up parking sensors so I always just use buckets.

Well dont spray them directly at the sensors then nobstash wink Parking sensors are no more prone to damage than side repeaters. Anything can be damaged by a PW if it is used incorrectly.

OP - these are OK.

The whole portable PW thing is problematic as they are battery powered and can only hold a smallish volume of water. They are ok for a quick wash on a reasonably clean car or a well detailed car. No good if you wash your car once a month or so.

This is inspired.

I now have the adaptor, a hose and a shiny new pressure washer.
