I believe you have to take the inlet manifold off..or something like that
Shimming should be done on INS.2, So that's roughly every 24k miles, or mre often if you feel like it.
You do have to be careful as the M Power cover plate and the coil pack bolts will strip very easy.
It might take 2.5 hours in total, but the engine needs to be stone cold to get it done perfect, and most places take the car in the night before and leave it on a ramp ready for the morning.
