Nice restaurant near Camberley

Hi All,

I have £100(ish) to spend on a meal for two on Friday night courtesy of work. I was considering Bluebells in Sunningdale which was lovely when we went last time but that was about 3 yrs ago. Has anyone been since or does anyone else have any recommendations for very nice restaurants in the area? I don’t want to go too far from home (we’ll probably get a cab back).

Picollinos opposite virginia water is always a good eat and a friendly place to go - i've heard good and bad about bluebells.

Ascot Grill - owned by the same people who own Bluebells but focused on steak, etc - very nice interior and food is excellent, priced more reasonably than Bluebells. It has only been open 2-months.

Bluebells is still a great choice but at £100, you may struggle to not add more money (or end up washing pots ).

The casual dining at Penny Hill (it used to be called St. James but they seem to change the name from time to time), used to be quite good but I haven't used it in over a year so it may have changed.

The Inn @ West End is a great gastro pub - not as impressive a location as the other options but the food is excellent.

I like The New Mill in Eversley though it would probably cost a bit more than £100. It's not much further than Bluebeckers...

You could give The Bee a try in windlesham. Very nice food and the managers Ozmira

I had an excellent meal there a year ago. However, I don't think that Ozmira works there anymore. IIRC, Ozmira didn't get paid his wages after he left his last job.

ex manager. They have a new manager and a new head chef. If Maidenhead isn't to far try the royal oak. Great menu little £££ but well worth it. The brasserie at PHP is good as well. Also I thought blue bells changed it's name to reds.

It was 'RED' but then changed to 'Bluebells'.
