is this an absolute steal?? i am very tempted indeed, wife is not so keen obviously. Anyone know anything about them? Internet does not give up much with regards driving dynamics etc, just lots of build threads.

Whether it's a steal or not would have to be judged in respect to its resale value. As a car it's well worth the money, but as your thread shows, when people don't know about a make or model then they tend to be dubious of it. There's a thread by the seller on the Haynes forum

Thanks, emailed the guy and he seems quite genuine, preffereed the build rather than the actual driving, Wonder how much use it would get, clearly a good weather car, despite the rusting at least my current toy (Classic mini) can be used in all weathers. And the missus would go mental (Wouldnt be the first time i bought a car on a whim)
