Just been talking to three guys that are financing a new TVR dealership based at Silverstone race circuit, they are launching at the Siverstone round of the F3 and GT championship. Fills a big hole in this part of the country.Best of luck guys.

Sorry all must have got a bit excited at the prospect of a dealer in this area and couldn't spell Silverstone.

Spoke to them at the weekend. Full of enthusiasm and very positive

However, whilst I wish them the very best of luck, I will still be taking the 1.5 hour drive to Joospeed, rather than the 20 mins to Silverstone

Talented, committed independent over dealership any day for me (although my brush with Racing Green gave me a different perspective from most dealers). Hope these guys turn out to have the independent spirit with the dealer backing. I understand that Racing Green and Peninsula have achieved this - hope this new dealership consolidates the start they've made towards a new era.

Good luck Chaps!

Indeed , although i personally look forward to the day when all the dealer dross is outed, the current vogue for proper customer care from dealers such as racing green, gorners and peninsula is a very positive step forward for TVR generally.

Fortunately the dealers near to me aren't quite to this standard, so I'm not too worried yet!!

Really pleased that you mentioned Gorners. The service we have had from Mike Clark there has been exemplary....rather different from when we bought our Lotus Elise from Peter Smith...but at least we had a benchmark.

That's great news. My family home is just by Buckingham so any future fun cars i have will be garaged there instead of central london where i currently live... and it'll give mum something to drive during the week too!

Anyone know their website? More details etc?

Cheers, Rico
